Alexey Nikolayevich Plotnikov (1977-2022), better known as Lex Plotnikoff, was a founder, guitarist, keyboardist and main songwriter of Russian progressive metal band Mechanical Poet, as well as of Hattifatteners, Mistland Prattlers, Luna Damien, Alexis Chrome, Last Fighter, Blacklight Devil, and Barrel Wight. He also composed video game music scores and painted cover arts.
