OXOL was a four-piece indie rock band from The Netherlands founded in the mid-1990s. They had quietly disappeared by 2004.

OXOL recorded and performed their own material, which was influenced by such diverse genres as psychedelic rock, folk, indie pop, electronic soundscape music and Britpop. The Dutch press evidently found it hard to label them, citing a wide range of influences including Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Sonic Youth, Zita Swoon and dEUS. [read more...]
