Formed in 2020 after the previous project "Xiyu" (2019-2020) was put on indefinite hiatus, Kiasu is a transgender, experimental solo artist from Minnesota often combining beat heavy elements of post and electro-industrial, glitch, synthpunk, ambient techno, flashcore, power noise and field recordings to create unique, off-kilter, ominous soundscapes.
