Artist Info: Dronechild

Dronechild are a Prog rock band that was formed in early 2010 when classmates Daniel Mahler, Jack McKenzie, Nick Heywood, Tom Spurgin, and Lachlan Neate began to play together informally.

It didn’t take long before the bands talents were realized. In their first ever live performance the band claimed the top prize (as Stolen by Stones) at the inaugural Ambiwerra Battle of the Bands in 2010. This win set a high benchmark for all of the bands future performances. [read more...]
