Artist Info: Chimpunx

The Chimpunx was started in the summer of '98. It was formed as a group effort from the remaining members of Head Kandy and The Small Time Mobsters. The band was originally created as a joke, but later it was discovered that they were good, damn good. The Chimpunx began playing gigs at a local coffee house. They later moved up in the "music world" by playing shows and small gigs downtown. In October of '99, the 513 club asked them to be on a compilation CD with many other acts. [read more...]
