Detailierte Künstler Informationen: The Coordinates

During a phone call in summer 2007 between a bathtub and a balcony, Jan & Carl decided that time was long overdue to get together again. But roughly 300 kilometers were separating them, something had to be done. After a couple of beers the solution finally appeared simple and seemed to hold a surprise for everyone:

They would simply agree on only the basics to form a track: tempo, measurement and length. One would then set off to write the melody, while the other would create the beat. To add a sprinkle of an edge to it, one song would have to be written in 24 hours, what they kept for the majority, get a life.

For the first cycle of 8 tracks, Carl would work on the melody and Jan would be responsible for the beat. This cycle has been completed and they are currently working on the next one, where they change the positions.

Since summer 2009 fate separated them by 9458 Km, which only brought them closer together after they found that the way they create their music is independent of distance and time zones.
