An agravic feeling comes down the spin, when you listen to Side Switch.
Side Switch is an international duo playing different types of electronic music. Their repertoire includes mellow, cosy and spacy tunes with lots of tactfulness which leads to the suspicion that Side Switch has a good sense for melodies.
Those impressions are mixed together to an first album, 'whole life orbiting'. As the title already says, it has a universal touch.
Side Switch is an international duo playing different types of so-called electronic music. Dave is from US and Adam lives in Poland, but actually they met 18 years ago in Scotland, working part-time in a local grocery store. Sorting carrots wasn’t their dream job, so in their spare time they were drinking beer and playing Scottish folk music. No one knows why, but the massive success never came, so they realized it was time to change.
It was only 4 years ago when they discovered electricity and a magical service called Ninjam. Ninjam let them play live for endless hours, without the need of leaving their bedrooms. And this is how their albums are formed. Dave came back to Salt Lake City and Adam to Warsaw, and now they both create soothing, gentle ambient sounds for masses.
Their latest album "whole life orbiting" was about to be nominated to Grammy Awards, but one member of the jury couldn't pronounce the name of the Polish guy, so they skipped it.
