NYX is a black metal band from Baden, Germany. Blitz (drums) and Vinterbarn (guitars) decided to put their restless and uncompromising creativity into a new project. So NYX was born on Sunday in Commemoration Of The Dead, 2011.

In 2012 the first demo „Satis“ was released and performed with two session- musicians.

By the end of 2012 Blitz and Vinterbarn started to go on as a real two- person- band without session- musicians. In 2014 the first full length album will be released.

Not to be confused with the italian black metal band NYX or the electronic outputs with the same name.
