Marko "Mark" Saaresto (* December 5, 1970) is a musician, best known as lead vocalist, co-founder and songwriter of the Finnish rock band Poets of the Fall. Before Poets of the Fall, he was a singer in the band called "Playground". The band made only a demo record that consists of 11 songs.

Marko's mother lived in England and she spoke English to Marko when he was young. Marko studied English and classic singing in university, as he was an exchange student in Ireland and Florida.

Marko is a bass-baritone, but often uses falsetto.

Marko is also credited for some work in Max Payne video game, developed by Remedy Entertainment. He created Captain Baseballbat-Boy comic and he lent his appearance to Vladimir Lem's character. He has also voiced two fictional in-game TV shows, "Address Unknown" and "The Void".

He also can be recognized as a model for several characters in TV-series "Lords and Ladies" and "Address Unknown" of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

Marko has been featured in a song "Taking A Vacation From Me" by singer Bright Lightning.
