Ahoi, earthlings!
Their trip through the musical cosmos has been long but finally they are here. Junopilot has landed, unpacking his sound: crunchy-sailing, time-dissolving, percussive – and in any case happy-making. As early as the intensive 1970s the navigation instruments were developed: the Hammond organ, the Fender-Rhodes, the guitar, drums, the accordeon, a well tuned sitar. And, as a highlight, the whole of the Babelsberg film orchestra. Together with full baselines and fluffy beats the airy-handmade music of the hippies has zoomed into the 21. century.

Where does the Junopilots` trip lead us? First into the melody itself, this country that, owing to the omni-present chippotential, has often been neglected. Where the rhythm carries the melody has to lead. This is the case when listening to the sounds of Jojo Büld and Sven Meyer, our two Junopilots. These artists succeed in designing relaxed atmospheres that are a far cry from the feeling of getting lost in banality. Is there such a term as the "thought through jam session"? If not, it may be invented to describe Junopilot, since this band is able to make deliberate things look as though they were random.

Our next target is the groove, the part that lies next to the pelvic region. Junopilot puts together a supple sound carpet using cross- style elements, that enables the listener to fool around and cuddle up.
