HSD stammen aus Innsbruck, Österreich, wurden Mitte der Neunziger Jahre gegründet und durchlebten einige personelle Wechsel, was Auswirkung auf ihre musikalische Entwicklung hatte und schlussendlich ihren Sound wesentlich veränderte. In den letzten Jahren konnten die vier in Österreich, Deutschland, Frankreich, der Schweiz, Tschechien und Kroatien überzeugen und viel Live Erfahrung sammeln. Ihre sehr eigenständige Musik wurde großteils sehr positiv aufgenommen. 2002 erscheint ihr erstes Album „no silence till change“ auf Troskot Records. Der Nachfolger “shut up be happy” von 2003 ist weit aus ausgereifter und hier wird deutlich dass HSD Ihren sehr eigenständigen Musikstil nun gefunden haben: Die Kombination von klassischem Hardcore und melodischen Passagen mit Saxophon. 2005 kommen HSD zum britisch/ amerikanischen Label Engineer Records, auf dem die Split CD „ Building Bridges“ mit MISCONDUCT im Juni 2006 weltweit erscheint und besonders positiv aufgenommen wird. Die Platte ist äußerst abwechslungsreich und bietet die perfekte Hardcore/ Punk Mischung einerseits von den altbekannten Misconduct aus Schweden und anderseits von HSD, die 4 eigenständige und aussagekräftige Songs dazu beitragen. Im November 06 tourt man mit Misconduct auf der Building Bridges European Tour 06 durch Deutschland, Frankreich und die Schweiz. HSD haben sich mit ihrer Mischung aus Hardcore, experimentellen Elementen und Saxophon-Einsatz eine Nische geschaffen, in der sie nahezu alleine auf weiter Flur sind.
2008 wechselt man zum amerikanischen Label KOI Records, wo ihr neues Studioalbum: „trapped in lunacy city” erscheint. Die neue CD zeigt einen neue experimentellen Weg, den die Band geht. Oldschooliger, markanter Hardcore mit rauen Vocals, vielen Tempo wechseln und vor allem die Vermischung von gewissen Jazz Tendenzen zeichnet die 4 Österreicher aus. Nun ist die Band bemüht vermehrt live auftreten zu können.

HSD has been establishing themselves in Innsbruck, Austria/ Europe for many years, starting in the mid 90's and going through some personal differences and changes throughout their development, finally getting to the point they're at now in 2008. This constant line-up change has reflected on HSD's sound over the years and as new members came and old members left, influences also did. In 2002 they released their first full length album "No Silence Till Change" on the Bulgarian label, Troskot Records. With this release, the five members first tried to generate music that best fits their personal approach to hardcore music. The result was an interesting mixture of a more classic hardcore sound mixed with some twists and turns of melodicism. Afterall, what is the last hardcore band you can think of that utelizes a saxophone? In 2003, their second album was released entitled "Shut Up, Be Happy." HSD worked hard to improve their style, toured to other countries such as Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Croatia and gained a lot of live experience and gig exposure. In 2006, HSD released a split record with Misconduct from Sweden, which all of you will know. On this split label-release through Engineer and Side By Side Records entitled "Building Bridges," HSD contribute 4 songs which best represent their now-matured way of making 21st century sax-laden hardcore music. In November 2006 HSD supported Misconduct on the “Building Bridges Tour 06 through Europe (Germany, France and Switzerland).
In 2008 the band changed from Engineer Records (UK) to KOI Records (USA) and released the new full length album “Trapped in lunacy city”.
Now HSD are back and showing a development in their sax and guitar laden music.”Trapped in lunacy city” is hardcore with rhythm and melody and one to check out! HSD will tour again and always look for new live shows.
