[About :]
GOTHIKA is an extreme heterodoxy group in present music scene.
Digital sound which is exactly constructed by synthesizer and
mechanical instrument doesn't narrow their music but expands the
width of freedom which is not caught in an existing category.
Pop melody line like 80's new wave or new romantics and decadent
world like industrial or gothic music are involved in their sound.
Vocalist andro's immoral lyrics that are deeply related to perverted
sexual experience administer the tablet to the people who hold
sickness in mind.

And their live performance like excessive sex appeal is a reason why we are called an aesthetic school.

[History :]
～2006
In 2002,vocalist andro and guitarist n@o started band activity with the name "EUTHANASIE".
In that period, sound of EUTHANASIE was band sound which consisted by live instruments.
In 2003, keyboardist #449 had joined, and sound of EUTHANASIE change to digital sound.
They had made concerts in gothic, new wave events in Tokyo constantly, and they made 3 mini albums independly.In 2006, done first european tour (10 countries,16 gigs).

2007
In Janurary, changed band name to "GOTHIKA".And style of the band started to change to complete european electro sound.
Guitarist n@o left GOTHIKA, after the northern european tour (7 countries,9 gigs).
In September, released the first full length album "120 Days of Sodom", at the same time, had done their third european tour (13 countries,16 gigs).
Additionally, done fourth european tour (7 countries,7 gigs) includes the gig in Dark Dance Treffen in December.

2008
In May, done fifth european tour(8 countries,9 gigs). played in the biggest gothic festival in the world Wave Gothic Treffen in this tour,
and spread their name to all over the electro scene.
After playing in Summer Darkness in August, they made contract with Danse Macabre Records managed by Bruno Kramm from
charismatic German gothic band Das Ich.
And re-released "120 Days of Sodom" from Danse Macabre Rechords.
In Octorber and November, done the biggest coupling Russian tour (19 gigs) with Das Ich, And their field of activity had became bigger.

2009
In early this year, they started to work for their second full length album, and in May, done coupling French tour (4 gigs) with French
electro act TAMTRUM.
After this tour, they changed base place for working to Berlin from Tokyo.
In July, played in Italian new wave festival Fano Moonlight Festival, and got enthusiastic response from audience.
After Ukrainian and Mordovien tour in September, made performance in the one of the biggest Japanese culture event in Germany
Connich 2009.
23rd Oct, will be released second full length album "ZeitGeist", and in Octorber and November, they will make the biggest Russian tour
(27 gigs) again.
And after the Russian tour, they will play together with Das Ich in their home city Tokyo
