FALLEN UTOPIA is a metal band from Carinthia/Austria. The music can be described as a mixture of Death and Black Metal. There is also a big influence of Thrash Metal and modern Metal in the songs.

History:
FALLEN UTOPIA was founded in April 2006 in Carinthia/Austria by Benjamin Knes (guitar) and Dominic Raunigg (dums). After a few weeks Lukas Wald (guitar), Chris Raunigg (bass) and Daniel Haslauer (vocals) entered and the band was complete. Early the first gigs were confirmed. By having a very big live presence in Carinthia, FALLEN UTOPIA made themselves a mark in this area and a lot of fans were found. After this, gigs all over Austria followed. In 2006 and 2009 two CDs were recorded at the CSW Studio Klagenfurt, they catched a very good echo in the scene. In 2011 the Label Cursed Records became attentive and contract the band for the next EP “Nothing’s made for eternity”, which was recorded at the Massace Studio Styria and will be released in summer 2012.

Supportgigs with Hellsaw, Callejon, Milking the Goatmachine and many more confirm the great live performance of FALLEN UTOPIA. Headlineshows in Vienna, Graz and all over Carinthia followed. The band was also booked for the Rock the Lake Festival 2009 with Belphegor, Maroon, The Sorow, Exila, Hackneyed,… and the Eine in Teich Festival 2011 with Asmodeus and Disastrous Murmur.
