Emptyself is the acoustic/ambient/trip hop sounding solo project of Eric Johansen, who is also the lead-singer of progressive/alternative rock band Cire. After his native New Orleans home has been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he has been living in New Zealand.
