Detailierte Künstler Informationen: Dissappointed

2004 I ran into a friend of mine who happened to own a club in Vienna
and there, in a back room, I met one of his colleagues who was just
jamming round on his guitar. I liked his style and showed him how I
was able to play and he was immediately impressed by my skills and
besides we got along great right from the first moment. Soon we met at
my place and were hanging about for some time. After some time we also
started making music together and found out that both our styles were
harmonizing pretty nicely and we were complementing one another as
well. First plans of forming a band were made. Still it took some time
until we began composing and writing riffs together I think it must
have been around spring 2007. Our first song had the working title
"Hihi". Unfortunately I was hit by some kind of writers block and
furthermore I was called up to join the forces for about a year. In
early 2008 when I and my mind were finally free again we started
working on different songs but to be honest didn?t finish any of them.
Then one day Munk introduced me to one of his friends who was an
amazingly talented drummer and very fast learner, too. Of course we
asked him to join our ?band? which he luckily eagerly accepted. After
some jamming around just the three of us, mostly too wasted or drunk,
there was no satisfying output and in addition Munk had to join the
forces in summer 2008 which, needless to say, didn?t help much in our
musical progress. In 2009 we were re-united again, now highly
motivated and ready to rock. We rented a rehearsal room (which
unfortunately turned out to be a pretty shithole) but the attitude was
straight forward though and we wrote more complex new stuff and kept
rehearsing the old ones. First we called our band ?Diary? but then we
found out that there was already an Alternative Pop band from Germany
with that name which we didn?t want to be associated with under no
circumstances so we changed our name to "Disappointed" in June 2009.
Since then we've been busy working on new songs because our next aim
is recording an ass-kicking demo CD which will blow your sock off.
