Short biography
Demolition was founded in 1996 by Thomas Kräutner (drums) and Thomas Pippersteiner (guitars), who are also the main songwriters of the band. Hans Peter Rapp (bass) is also a member of Demolition since the beginning. In 2005 Janos Murri, a well-known musician from Italy, where he worked with Resurrecturis and Priority, was added as second guitar player to the line-up. The ranks of the band are filled by Wolf (vocals), also known for his work with the Austrian death metal legend Darkside.
Demolition play thrash metal in their very own style. They released 4 albums until now and played tours over Europe with Testament and Susperia . Now Demolition will team up with Death Angel, Mercenary and Extrema for an extensive 4 week European tour in support of their latest album “Relict IV” released by Twilight Zone Records.

Nati nel 1996 a cura di Thomas Kräutner (drums) e Thomas Pippersteiner (guitars), questi due sono anche gli songwriters principale del gruppo. Hans Peter Rapp (bass) anche lui fa parte di Demolition dall´inizio. Nel 2005 gli austriacci agiungiono Janos Murri alla chitarra, personaggio noto nell'underground italiano grazie ai Priority e i Resurrecturis. Il line-up complete Wolf(vocals), noto anche per il suo lavoro con la legenda death metal austriaccha Darkside.
I Demolition suonano thrash metal, fatto di riffoni "spessi" da headbanging, ritmiche serrate, solos tipicamente ottantiani, voci gutturali di matrice death e tanto impatto. Fine ora hanno registrato 4 dischi e sono stati in tour europei con Testament e Susperia. Ora Demolition insieme ai Death Angel, Mercenary ed Extrema vanno in giro per 4 settimane anche per promuovere il nuovo disco “Relict IV”, uscito sulla Twilight Zone.

Demolition wurde 1996 von Thomas Kräutner (drums) und Thomas Pippersteiner (guitars), den beiden Hauptsongschreibern der Band, gegründet. Hans Peter Rapp (bass) gehört ebenfalls seit Beginn an zu Demolition. 2005 stieß Janos Murri an der zweiten Gitarre zur Formation, der in Italien bereits mit Priority und Resurrecturis im Underground fest verwurzelt war. Das Line-up komplettiert Sänger Wolf, auch bekannt durch sein Wirken bei der österreichischen Death Metal Legende Darkside.
Demolition spielen Thrash Metal, beeinflußt durch eine Vielzahl von verschiedenen Musikstilen, aber eigentlich sehr eigenständig. Seit 1998 haben die Wiener 4 Alben veröffentlicht und waren mit Testament und Susperia auf Tourneen in ganz Europa unterwegs. Nunmehr werden sie gemeinsam mit Death Angel, Mercenary und Extrema im April in Europa unterwegs sein, um ihr neues Album „Relict IV“ (Twilight Zone) zu promoten.
