Biography
His music: Singer/Songwriter, Dark Country, Junk Blues, Folk and Rock'n'Roll
Influenced by G'n'R, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Various Root Blues and Alternative Country Artists and Spazed Stoner Rock as well, Bob Spring had to "rename" the kind of music he's writing and playing: Junk Blues (Junk = Most of the tracks "just happend" by, for example, hangigng draind and cursed on the bed. Blues = Bob Spring's music allways has a dark, melancholic touch).
A friend about Bob Spring:
"He grew up holding a violin in his hands nevertheless his first music cassette was an Elvis Presley best of tape...
At the age of 13 he found a guitar and discovered his voice...
Sang for different bands and did almost 300 live shows with his rockband "backwash" (perris records)...
He is absolutly devoted to everything that makes a sound...weather it's an instrument or a simple beer can.
He hung at his friends' studios for weeks and weeks composing, sampling, writeing and recording 24/7.
Died a hundred deaths, lost his mind to the feels of music and finally found grounded again...
Never stopped holding on... come what may..."
"No music, no Bob Spring"

Biografie (Ger)
An allem was Klang erzeugt interessiert.
Bob ohne Musik, unvorstellbar."
