The Blindfold Sound? A mixture of hugely conflicting styles performed in such a way, that they create something both rather unique and beautiful. As with most Icelandic music to grace these shores, the emphasis is focused on dreamy melodies, sprawling post rock / shoegazing influences and with added bonus of basic electronics.

The debut album is a very personal and genuinely heartfelt collection of tracks; which could be linked to the recording sessions being spread over a 2 year period between 2002 and 2004, capturing contrasting feelings and emotions. The heights that Blindfold’s studio album, MySpace mp3’s and promos have scaled can only be exceeded by their live performances.
