Allison is a pop punk band from Mexico City, Mexico that formed in 2003. Their popularity in the Mexican punk music scene has escalated in the past few years, and today their music is known in some parts of Latin America and the United States.
The band consists of Erik Canales (guitar and vocals), Manuel "Manolin" Avila (bass guitar and vocals), Abraham "Fear" Jarquin (guitar) and Diego Stommel (drums).
Through Allison's career, the band has shared the same stage with Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, Over It, NHOI, National Product, Jaguares, Paramore, Chiodos and Molotov.
The band's self-titled debut album reached Gold/Platinum sales in Mexico with more than 300,000 units sold. The album reached number one in sales on AMPROFON (Mexicos' SoundScan) and remained a mainstay for 14 weeks on the chart. It remained number one at retailers Mix Up (mainstay on list 13 weeks) and Tower Records in Mexico City (mainstay on the list eight weeks).
