Artist Detailed Info: Zuada

Zuada is a band from Brasília, formed in September 2023, bringing a raw, direct, and heavy sound that straddles punk, metal, and grindcore. The trio is composed of Sophia (guitar and vocals), Babi (bass and backing vocals), and Kiyuushi (drums). With lyrics that address everyday life, whether collective or individual, Zuada seeks to portray the dirtiest and most reprehensible aspects of society in a short, direct sound.

The project came to life thanks to the initiative of Sophia and Kiyuushi, who had previously shared the stage in another band. Now, aiming to bring together and increase the visibility of the female scene in the Federal District, in addition to producing a heavier sound, Babi quickly joined the movement.

Since its creation, the group has performed on several stages in the Federal District, including their most recent performance at the Ferrock Festival. In the coming months, Zuada will also release its first material in partnership with Feminichaos Project, which will bring together bands from Brasília featuring women in a new compilation.
