Zingari

Zingari were a 5 piece new wave 80's pop band featuring Gary Hutchins on bass , Dave Morris on drums and the Wan sisters Tish , Joyce and Sue on vocals keyboard and percussion.

After joining Imagination as support act on their UK 'Scandalous Tour', Zingari's debut single "Everybody's Waiting" produced by Phil Harding failed to set the UK charts on fire in 1983

After Everybody's Waiting Zingari parted ways with both Blue Strike records and producer Phil Harding and started working with producer David Motion. They retained the AWESOME Zingari logo and released "One More Chance" on Dakota Records in 1984. which had a Pet Shop Boys feel. This released also failed to chart.

Zingari - One More Chance (7" Version) (1984)

The lack of success of either of these singles didn't deter Zingari. This time they dropped the logo, but kept David Motion as producer. In 1985 they release "A Dakota Artists Production" on PRT Records with the 7" "Halcyon Days" b/w "Echoes" Although both tracks are shining examples of synthpop, once again the band didn't light up the charts, and that was the end of theroad for Zingari story. Gary Hutchins and Dave Morris ended up playing keyboards and percussion respectively for the Strawberry Switchblade album which David Motion co-produced with Phil Thornally. Tish Wan got signed by RCA records and released her debut solo record "Just Like Eddy" a Jeffrey Goddard cover in 1989. This also failed to chart.
