Yak Bastard was a folk-punk band that was unfortunately from Topeka, Kansas. In 2013 they went on a busking tour down the Mississippi River in canoes then broke up forever because all the members hated each other.

Genre varies widely from reckless folk-punk about partying, skating, motorcycles, travel and pugs to a more relaxing outlaw country sound about political issues such as racism, homophobia, nationalism, religion, animal-rights and consumerism.
