WHAT ABOUT consists of four men, of varying age, height, weight, personal hygenie and stature. They first met in 2007 and started playing together. The contrasting music tastes of the members makes for an interesting listening experience.

WHAT ABOUT aims to play music that pleases both themselves and their audience, music that is serious without being pretentious, happy with out being frivolous. melancholy without being suicidal. Style wise the band has a hard time placing themselves on any set scale, but indie post rock seems to be as good a label as any.

The band is fronted by one Helmut The Kansler. His grasp of reality is tenuous at best and he's known to break into song at the least of provocations. Rock stardom is just a martini away.

Thorbjörn is a sound technician and music producer when he's not playing the drums. He is a Danish export, just like some of the worlds best beer and such should be poured with care and drunk in excess.

Óskar started his love affair with the bass as a teenager in a death metal band. He likes duckies, braiding his hair and turning lights on and off.

Sjonni, guitarist, is an artist and a poster child for abnormality. He is studying to be a painter, the exposure to the fumes has left him silly.
