Artist Detailed Info: Weeping

Hailing from New Jersey, Weeping is an extreme metal unit that operates at the chaotic intersection of brutal death metal, powerviolence, and hardcore. Formed in 2020, the band made an immediate impact on the underground with early releases like their 2021 EP Ethereal Suffering In The Light Of God, blending suffocating, low-tuned death metal riffs with erratic powerviolence blasts and oppressive, crushing breakdowns. Building a reputation for relentless aggression and visceral live shows, Weeping cemented their standing with their 2024 debut full-length, Spiritual Barbarism. Lyrically and visually steeped in themes of self-mutilation, existential dread, and religious decay, Weeping delivers a uncompromisingly harsh, modern sonic assault tailored for fans of total underground brutality.
