Artist Detailed Info: Wango

"Wango", earlier known as "Putrid", is an alternative rock band based in Arendal, Norway, consisting of Mathias Langfeldt Andersen(vocals, guitars & synth), Martin Torvik Langerød(guitars, vocals & synths), Tobias Flottorp(Bass, synth & vocals) and Henrik Torvik Langerød (drums). They´re very inspired by great experimental artists such as Radiohead, and find their music to be some sort of a fusion between alternative rock and indie, jazz, prog and pop. They´ve played several gigs the past six years with many famous norwegian bands; such as Kaizers Orchestra, Jarle Bernhoft, Rumble In Rhodos, Ungdomskulen, Honningbarna, Heroes & Zeros and more.

Wango recently changed their name from "Putrid", because of the misleading meaning of the word compared to their music. They´ve got a lot of positive feedback from the press and other bands, and are currently working with a record and a tour across the country.
