There are at least two artists with the name "Vanities"
Vanities #1: Vanities, the latest trend coming strong out of Cape Cod, Mass. Consisting of members of former national touring acts like From Atlantis and A Faylene Sky, Vanities is no stranger to life on the road, and has what it takes to make it. Vanities entered the studio in June 2013 to record their debut Five track EP titled "For Everything, It's A Start" with producer Landon Tewers (The Plot In You). The EP has a much more raw and emotional feel than either of the bands that Vanities has stemmed off from, and the members could not be more proud of this EP, and the amount they have matured musically.
Expect to catch this five piece in a city near you soon.
Vanities #2.Rob Blake (vocals, guitar), Joe Connell (bass), and Joe Reilly (lead guitar) formed the Vanities in 2001in Neptune, New Jersey. For the first two albums Blake did double duty as the drummer until John Sancilio met them and joined in the parking lot of a concert. The band went through a few line up changes over the years however, they’ve released 4 Full Length albums and 1 EP. White Album (2001), Black Album (2002), EP for the Lord (2003), Coma Kiss (2006), and Antisocial Studies (2010).
