The finest punk band to ever come out of Cambridge's Pimms soaked streets , The Users were hampered by the fact they didn't have a street cred postcode yet they sounded better than anyone playing at the Roxy .Influenced more by Stooges , Heartbreakers, Dead boys and MC5 than the UK scene .Band members were James "James" Haight - Vocals. Bobby Kwok - Bass (aka Alvin Gibbs). Chris "Panic" Free - Guitar. Andrew Bor - Drums. Formed in late 1976 they later teamed up with Lee Wood of Raw records to put out two fine singles "Sick of you/In love with today" and "Kicks in Style/DOA" . Andrew Bor's sister was later to form "Dolly Mixture" and wed Captain sensible of the "Damned" . Chris Free now runs an internet clothing website after success with various projects in the rag trade, Andrew bor is a piano tuner .
