Artist Detailed Info: Tsuga

Members: ..Chris LaPointe writes lyrics and performs vocal projections. Aaron Edge creates low tones at high decible. .... Recording: ..Tsuga has recorded our first track, entitled "In the Shadow of Sentinels". We did this with our friend Steve Carter (knob-turning) and Greg Bennick (spoken word) here in Seattle, WA. We are extremely pleased with this melodic, epic track. This track will appear on a Shac-7 Benefit Comp put out by No Fucking Whey Records. See info below. The two of us will continuing to write new material and record approximately one song a month for the next several months, and then... who knows. —Chris/Aaron .... ...... .... Agenda: ..The premise for which Tsuga was formed is twofold. First, we seek to create sincere and mindful music with an emphasis on, but not limited to, the natural world and its non-human inhabitants. Next, we plan on being as proactive as possible in terms of giving back to the amazing community in which we live. We will achieve this by creating and distributing our music with as little impact on the environment as possible (read; a lot of MP3s/downloadable music, minimal touring, the use of local, ethical and cruelty free companies for the limited production and packaging of our merchandise and music). .... In addition: ..We will select certain environmental and animal rights organizations and donate a percentage of our earnings to those organizations we support.
