1.) Transmit is an electronic music outfit formed in 2006 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Transmit's first four releases were all recorded while participating in the Record Production Month Challenge (http://www.rpmchallenge.com), and were each released on March 1 of their corresponding years: 2008's Interference, 2009's Signal To Noise, 2010's Wave, and 2011's 570-580nm 525-515THz. 2.) TRANSMIT is a band revolving around the writing, drumming and guitar of Tony Buck, with core line-up of Magda Mayas on organ and piano, James Welburn on bass, and Brendan Doughety playing drums.

The focus here is very much on rhythm and momentum and the layering of parts and sounds. The instrumental line-up of TRANSMIT features driving guitar, throbbing bass, chiming chords, swelling organ and propulsive drumming, combining to bring you a big, slowly building trance machine.
