Artist Detailed Info: The Ticket

The Ticket are a Brisbane based five piece who formed in 2002. Their music is propelled by strong melodies and accompanied by an assemblage of effects driven guitars, drawing influence from indie, post rock and classical genres. The Ticket have a strong involvement in the Brisbane music scene and have performed on numerous well known stages around Brisbane, including The Zoo, Troubadour, Alley Bar, Rics and Tongue and Groove.

The band has recently finished work on their debut album, "Handdrawn Villians" and released it at Brisbane's The Zoo nightclub in July 2008. An entirely indepentent release, the album was written, recorded, produced in a private studio by the band and mixed and engineered by Darek Mudge
