At least two bands are/were called The Threads:

1. A six piece chaos induced post-punk outfit from Santa Barbara CA.

2. An English Mod rock band (1982-1991) from Lincolnshire, briefly popular the 'Mod revival' of the mid-1980s. They recorded one album: 1987's Loud Shirts And Stripes.
