Artist Detailed Info: The Pattern Effect

The Pattern Effect Is an experimental band from Jacksonville, FL featuring Quinn Spencer (I Shot The Duck Hunt Dog, Bridge of Lions, and Rapture Indeed!) and Brandon Winchester (Rapture Indeed!). The bands unique sound consists of older sounding Bells, mellotron keyboards, and urban hip hop style drum breaks. They are currently releasing a 4 song self titled EP featuring the song "Visitor" on their myspace (www.myspace.com/thepatterneffect). In January the band posted a blog on myspace which stated that the self titled EP will be free and as soon as they are finished they will be working on a currently untitled 7 part concept album. The story for the LP is unclear but apparently deals with one mans struggle to fight his way out of coma. there is currently no set release for either project.
