Artist Detailed Info: The Hatchetman

The Hatchetman is a London-based artist who attempted to remove his page from Last.fm in June 2009 after he noticed that television-style adverts and cartoon pictures of silent grizzly bears were interupting peoples' radio listening and making things really annoying for those who put the work in to making Last.fm what it is (the users), while generating huge commercial revenue for the sly corporate chiefs. Last.fm didn't allow the Hatchetman to remove his page from the site but said he could delete his material if he wanted. Not really seeing the point of having an empty page with his name at the top of it, the Hatchetman has just left things as they are and added a criticism of Last.fm to his biographical spiel.
