The Gambit is a finnish rap-artist and a producer. His first single "Move Gambit" was released 2005 and it rose to the ninth place in the finnish charts. It also got widespread attention as radiostaton YleX´s single of the week.

Gambits fist album "Rosary" was release 14. 11. 2007. Rosary includes 15 blazing hot tracks with featuring artists such as Psycho Les from The Beatnuts and Marika Krook, a noted finnish opera singer. With his debut album The Gambit branded a new hip-hop style called jungle rattle which can best be heard on tracks Snake Styles and Illustrious(Opium). The Gambit himself describes jungle rattle to be induced with hypnotic and mysterious melodies and vocals that break the normal rythm.

The Gambits distinctive southern accent is due to his time spent in Florida, during which he got the name "white rattler".
