Tehachapi

Tehachapi are a psychedelic/post-rock band from Melbourne, Australia, whose four members (Constantine Stefanou, Anthony Cook, James Ruse and Laura Christoforidis) formed in early 2009, and released their first album, (100), in March of 2010.
The band is named after the Native American word, which means 'the land of four seasons and sweet water' which is sonically portrayed in their music.
Tehachapi draw most of their influences from 60s and 90s psychedelia, shoegaze and musicians such as The Brian Jonestown Massacre, My Bloody Valentine, Radiohead, Beck, Mogwai, Yo La Tengo, Frank Zappa, Fleet Foxes and Tame Impala.
