Tambuco is a percussion ensemble from Mexico. Was founded in 1993, since then they try to explore and show the percussions around the world, from stucturalist percussion music to ethnic drum music. Tambuco has offered concerts around the world, had collaborated with world renown percussionists and composers.
Tambuco has a great repertoire including: Keiko Abe, John Cage, Valerie Naranjo, Minoru Miki... and also Mexican composers like: Eugenio Toussaint, Raúl Tudón, Mario Lavista, Carlos Chávez, Santiago Ojeda...
Tambuco is formed by Ricardo Gallardo, Alfredo Bringas, Raúl Tudón and Miguel González.
