Artist Detailed Info: Tabata

Mitsuru Tabata is an experimental, rock and psychedelic guitarist from Japan. He was a founding member of Boredoms, but left shortly afterwards. He is best known for his guitar work for the eclectic (but always brutal and crushing) Japanese rock band Zeni Geva. He has ties to the Acid Mothers Family of musicians and often plays in Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO and Acid Mothers Temple & The Cosmic Inferno.

He has also released a handful of recordings on his own, including collaborations with the likes of Guilty Connector and Reiko Azuma (former Merzbow member). He makes up one-third of the noisy supergroup Monster DVD, along with fellow Zeni Geva guitarist KK Null and Yasutoshi Yoshida (aka Government Alpha).
