Artist Detailed Info: Subtle People

Subtle People is a musical act with multi-instrumentalist composer Justin Gracer as the primary contributor. Currently writing and recording, and performing locally in Los Angeles with other sporadic shows in the U.S. Justin describes this music in his own words:”…the attitude is romantic. The lyrics are dark, poetic, and tragically heroic. The beats explore from primal war drums to modern dance-floors. The vocal arrangements might be considered 'pop versus classical'. The music tends to be drum machine-driven, and has a fair share of guitars -clean, dirty, and steel-string acoustic. Layers are textured with samples and synths, ornamented with real brass and winds and eastern instrumentation. Subtle People aim to create boundlessly imaginative, ageless / location-less and literally fashionable music. As much as I'm told I should be making lots of money with this music, I see the spirit of money and my music being from two different worlds and sense they may never thrive together in the same one for me...I think I rather like that idea."
