Bio:

Strike Team formed in Nottingham in February 2008 with the aim of playing straight up no nonsense hardcore.

The original line up of Markus, Sam, Neil, Ciaran and Jonnie wrote two songs for their 1st ep. titled Worth Fighting For which was self released in July 2008.

Sam made way in March 2008 with the bands blessing to join local metal act Zenith. The gap on drums was filled by Mogli Morris previously of Nottingham based Ska band Weeble.

The band completed the writing and recording of Worth Fighting For with Mogli and recorded in late July 2008 at Stuck On A Name Recordings in Nottingham. They then spent the year playing shows and had the privilege of sharing the stage with CDC, Blacklisted, Rythm to the Madness, xRepresentx, Attitude, Gold Dust, Sink or Swim, Hoods and Billy the Kid.

In May 2009 Strike Team returned to the studio to record their second ep. titled Bridges at Gav's Recordings in Salford. This offering had a heavier feel to it than Worth Fighting For and showed a glimps at the direction the band have gone in recent times.

Jonnie Aggro parted company in late June 2009 following the birth of his 1st child. Mogli Morris left shortly after due to work commitments. The band asked Sam to fill in short term while they found someone more permanent however Sam took up the role himslef following the demise of Zenith.

In late January 2010 the band felt they were lacking something and asked friend Jack Armstrong previously of Nottingham based Millicent Grove if he would like to try out. His heavy style of guitar was exactly what the band were looking for and he officially joined on 21st January 2010.

Strike Team are currently in the process of completing the writing of their unnamed 3rd ep. due for release in August 2010.
