Born in Toronto, raised in Holland and finally settling in Ottawa, Canada, steav's unique brand of ambient groove is the result of musician Steve Geyer's passion for electronic composing using keyboards and samples. Trained as a classical pianist, Steve loves all sincere music ranging from classical to jazz, rock, pop and every shade in between. When it comes to his own compositions under the artist name 'steav' however he gravitates toward minimalist ambience and deep grooves.
