Artist Detailed Info: Squigs

squigs is a self taught multi-instrumentalist/artist based in the jersey city/new york city area. Born in the hoboken, squigs ripped his way into the music scene in O's by playing guitar and keyboards with various electronic and jam bands in the area. Soon after, squigs became extremely immersed in electronic music, listening and producing. This led to the album, "retro". "aka the learning curve, so to speak" as he puts it. His latest, "sountrack to the motion picture that doesn't exist ", welds squigs' quirky beats with catchy melodies to produce a mirad of sludgy soundscapes. Tracks like "escape from asbury park," showcase his minimalism but plenty of room for ear candy in the right places. Currently, squigs is getting ready to bring his frankenstein studio out for performances this summer, after the STTMPTDE release.
