Artist Detailed Info: Spellgate

The Spellgate project was conceived in the winter of 2001 and officially began January 1st 2002. Spellgate is the result of combining two separate talents into one project. Our goal is to create an original fantasy band with such depth that it will provide a unique outlet for imagination and keep fantasy alive in people’s hearts. Spellgate’s sound could be best described as synth metal. We have the speed and power of metal without using traditional metal instruments. Synthesizers produce all the music in Spellgate. Complex layering, rolling bass lines, and film score style melodies highlight our compositions. Every song we write is based on an involved storyline that will not only span our debut release but will continue through subsequent releases.
