2.Soupy is a band from the (not fictional) city of TownTown, playing a blend of post-hardcore, pop-punk and math rock, all under the banner of emo, whose creative output revolves around a collective effort of bringing back culture into their desolate and nihilistic universe by engaging with music, mass-media and meme culture that involuntarily engulfed their lives and minds via an unregulated and toxic access to the internet. In a nutshell, it is a sillier take on emo music, a bittersweet look at society and a way for us to poke fun at the world.
