Solanas are a screamo band based in Newcastle, UK, formed in late 2013 by frontman Ollie Doe and drummer Elliot Dixon.They play a modern brand of tone-laden screamo inspired lyrically by loss of identity and queer theory. Solanas released their first proper EP 'Martyrs and Icons' on tape in April 2014 via Dogs Waiting By Their Owners Graves Records, followed by 'We'll Fall Further...At Least Together' on Wolf Town DIY in July 2014. On July 17th 2015, Solanas self-released their debut full-length album "The Distance Within Our Bodies" on cassette and digitally.
