Artist Detailed Info: Slides

Dead Letter Box is a self-produced EP by southeast London based band, Slides. The recording was made over winter 2011 in various basements and bedrooms and will be released on Monday 30th May 2011. As part of the release, ‘Dead Letter Box’ will be available as a free digital download from www.slides.bandcamp.com.
As an unsigned act Slides don’t want to limit their audience by demanding payment for music, and would much rather people just enjoy listening to their new music and spread the good news.

Slides take inspiration from artists as varied as Peter Gabriel and Paul Simon, to Death Cab for Cutie and Radiohead; to create there own kind of ‘dream music’, drenched in atmospheric guitar, haunting melodies and big grooves.
