Artist Detailed Info: Skamarlans

Skamarlans hail from Barcelona. The band formed in 1996 but it was not until 2002 that a stable formation (2 guitars, bass, drums and violin) was found.
In the following period the band played gigs around Spain and began to tour around Europe, becoming more professional in the process. In 2004 one guitarist left the band, leaving the final lineup

The band played their last concert on September 15th, 2006.

During their existence, the band experimented with numerous styles, always keeping the ska influence as a constant. They themselves cite System of a Down, Children of Bodom, Nofx, Mr. Bungle and Dream Theater as main influences. The lyrics (in Catalan and Spanish) deal with social problems and politics.
