Sara Lorenz

Sara was born 1983 in Siegen, Germany. Already as a child Sara starts to be involved in concerts and recordings of the "Rink"-Family, "Christopher Kirchenmaus" and other productions.
In 1997 Sara and her two cousins Tina Pantli and Lisa Kriegeskotte (both born Rink) hosted their first Sharona concert. Soon they were doing numerous concerts in Germany with their Band (Mark Wiedersprecher, Markus Bajorat and Sascha Meyer). In 2000 they produced the first Sharona CD "so glad" (producer: Eberhard Rink), which was a complete success. (Sara's songs on the CD: Take My Heart, Forever and So Glad). Sharona was nominated and elected for the newcomer of the year award of the Promikon in 2001. 2004 Sharona's follow-up record "Open my eyes" was released (Sara's songs on the CD: Love Is A Fire, Open My Eyes, Where? and God's Time).
After her "Abitur" (2003) Sara visited the Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia for two years, which she found to be a live changing and enriching experience. After this time Sara moved to Berlin to support a newly founded church icf-berlin, which is close to Sara's heart. There she is mainly involved in the area of creative worship. Because of her passion for the church she is studying theology by correspondence course at the IGW (Institute for church-planting and world mission) in Zurich, Switzerland.
Sara appears on numerous productions as a soloist or a background singer:
Promiseland ("Ungeteiltes Herz")
In Love With Jesus...
Du bist Herr
Segne Mich - Gebet des Jabez (prayer of Jabez)
Leben Mit Vision (the purpose driven life)
Sara is also involved in other projects and conferences, e.g. the Willow Creek youth congress One 2006 and Promiseland congress 2007. In 2006 she was also in the final of the Message Music Contest with her song "Heiler meines Herzens".
In march 2006 her first solo recording "Overflowing" was released (producer: Marc Ebermann).
