Roob (Born 5/7/1985) is an unsigned underground hip-hop artist from Philadelphia, PA. Originally known as DJ Roob, he entered the game as a DJ back in 2004 after watching his friend blend up a Tupac verse with somebody else's beat and vowing to go home and blend up a better one. After dropping his only mixtape as a DJ (Notorious B.I.G. - Notoriously Sick : Vol 1) in the summer of 2006, Roob switched his focus towards producing beats. It wasn't until he hopped into the booth only messing around on a visit to a North Philly studio (where he was trying to sell a beat to another hometown rapper) that he finally figured out he belongs in front of the mic.
