Artist Detailed Info: Robert Sant

Roberts Sant is a Swedish Singer-songwriter. His music carrier started with two english alternative folk/country albums It’s just a lonely feeling (with cover art from Townes Van Zandt's daughter Katie) and My Dead Town, which brought him to the rare opportunity to tour in the USA, Japan and the Nordic countries in his early carrier.

His deep lyrics came from the dark cutting place of dispair, rage and wholesome hopelessness and the drive to express them. He was invited to spend some time in The house of songs in Austin TX where he co-wrote with some great songwriters and played some live shows.
After this he released some Swedish songs and a English EP but gradually felt he had said all he needed to say.

Putting the guitar on rest he wrote novels as his ongoing battle with manic depression continued.
In the continious search for timeless wisdom he spend some time studying religious sience at the university with special interest in Exorcism.

Later he made the choice to move from the busy city life to a simple cabin in the woods to be closer to the spirits and for his mental wellbeing.
Today his music is a mixture of poetic lyrics brought forward by a spirit greater them himself.

Robert Sant's songwriting is constantly searching for those timeless melodies.
Now the songs comes to him from the trees and the rivers from the mountains and the wind from the earth and the lakes and from the whispering Runes.
