Artist Detailed Info: Red Simba

Red Simba is a songwriter, composer, producer, and classically-trained violinist based on Earth. Whimsical in nature, he describes his main genres as "symphonic jazz hop" and "new jack string," in which he plays with different music genres, including classical, R&B, instrumental hip-hop, and new jack swing. He cites Michael Jackson and Prince as his two biggest artistic inspirations along with Janet Jackson, Vanessa-Mae, Ludwig van Beethoven, and De La Soul.

He has conceived 25 albums of material, although only a handful have been produced so far. The first album he saw to its completion was the symphonic jazz-hop record Undecember, which explores a variety of genres and features the singles Mascot (Do Whatever I Want), Duodecember, and ♥ (Pts. I & II).

He is currently working on his next project, a double album titled Captain Colorado's Cards o' Courage.

He also has a rougher-edged musical alter-ego Zany Zebra, and has made records under that stage name. This stylistic dichotomy loosely drew inspiration from Parliament and Funkadelic.
